When we bought our first home in the summer of 2004 and decided to remodel it by ourselves, I had no idea what we were getting into. Remodeling sounded fun and exciting, but I didn't know how frustrating it could be! We turned to the web to look for local contractors, to find the best deals on materials, and to see if anyone can tell us how in the world we can lay the wood flooring like a perfect puzzle. To my amazement, we couldn't find any one website that can provide all of the answers. So somewhere between many late night trips to Home Depot, I decided to make my own website that I wished I had. I hope that you become a part of this online community to share your experience, to gather information, or even just to vent on our online forum!
